As a one of the four Asian Rugby 7s tournaments, Malaysian Rugby 7s held on from August 31st to September 1st. All 12 core Asian Rugby 7s participated on this event while China and Kong Kong sent their best available team due to Chinese National Games. Japan Won the first 2013 Asian Rugby cup final in Malaysia in 14-10 points.
